Our Mission:
Our key objectives are to make the Village of Waterloo a family-focused, prosperous, and attractive community by taking pro-active approaches to problems within the Village. Focusing on upkeep of infrastructure, budgetary concerns, and efficient but responsive government it will be more than ever possible to preserve our community’s natural beauty and historical significance.
As a Party we pledge to be -
* Accessible - by phone, text, or email we believe in public SERVICE as we work for YOU, the village resident & taxpayer.
* Accountable and transparent - information concerning the work of the Board of Trustees (including meeting minutes) will be available online. Village budgets will be also posted and explained in depth, as it is YOUR tax dollars being spent.
* Fiscally careful - we understand that to build a better Waterloo, we must allow residents to keep as much of their hard-earned dollars as possible therefore, we will be looking for sources of fiscal waste, and seeking to run the village in a more economically efficient way.
* Promoters of our community - It is important that Waterloo becomes known for more than just Memorial Day. As a village of incredible potential Waterloo should be a focal point of the Finger Lakes all year long.
* Pro-family - we believe the family is the strongest asset we have, and will encourage and support programs such as those offered by the Waterloo Library and Historical Society, the Waterloo Community Center and our local churches.
